I didn't grow up around cigars. I stumbled into them the way most people do — someone handed me one at the right moment, and I paid attention.

This site is part journal, part reference, part excuse to keep exploring. I'm not a sommelier. I don't have a cellar full of rare Cubans. I'm just someone who enjoys a good smoke and likes to write about it honestly.
